The Deep Water Wash cycle fills the tub with more water during the wash and rinse cycle when you need it, so you can be confident you're getting a great clean. Drying begins in the washer. Spin speeds of up to 700 RPM help remove water from clothes so they take less time to dry. You'll also get improved cleaning* with our High-Efficiency Agitator and Wash System that combines the gentleness of an impeller with the cleaning action of an agitator. The Amana top-load electric dryer has Automatic Dryness Control which uses sensors to monitor the drum temperature, automatically stopping the cycle when fabrics are dry, to help reduce overdrying and help you save on energy costs. A generous 6.5 cu ft capacity means there's plenty of room to dry your loads. For those times when you can't unload right away, the Wrinkle Prevent option tumbles clothes intermittently to help stop wrinkles from forming. The Cool Down cycle gives clothes time to cool off, which helps prevent wrinkles when clothes are left in the dryer after the cycle ends.
